Well! The Victorian writers turned out some jolly good plots and you only have to read Dickens to discover how convoluted and complicated these plots could get but...
Oh, but this book is a gem and why hasn't anyone turned it into a film?
I listened to this on my Kindle with mounting disbelief and glee. I ran the batteries down twice because I wanted to hear it all in one sitting (it lasted three glorious days though)and listened to mistaken identities, misheard warnings, misunderstood advice… (más)
