If the two chinese characters in Miss Suzumiya's family name are split apart, they can be considered to translate to "Cold" and "Palace". In the

I don't know if Nagaru Tanigawa thought of this, but it has inspired me to write several short fan works that explore the concept of exile in the

Haruhi-verse. No infringement of the original rights is intended.
